Biography
of
Ash Shaykh Hamad bin Abdul-‘Azeez al-‘Ateeq
He is the Esteemed Virtuous Shaykh Hamad bin
Abdul-‘Azeez al-‘Ateeq, may Allâh preserve him, one of the Shaykhs of Ahl
as-Sunnah wal-Jamaa‘ah.
The Shaykh is a graduate of the Imaam Muhammad
bin Sa‘ud Islamic University in Riyadh, College of Sharee‘ah, and a student of
many of the great Shaykhs of our time, including the late Shaykh al-‘Allaamah
al-Muhaddith ‘Abdul-Azeez bin ‘Abdullaah bin Baaz, may Allâh have mercy upon
him, and the late Shaykh al-‘Allaamah al-Faqeeh Muhammad bin Saalih bin
Muhammad al-‘Uthaymeen, may Allâh have mercy upon him, and Shaykh al-‘Allaamah
al-Usoolee Saalih bin Fawzan al-Fawzan, may Allâh preserve him, as well as
others.
The Shaykh, may Allâh preserve him, is a teacher,
an Imaam and a Khateeb of Jaami‘ as-Subay‘ee in Riyadh, under the authority of
the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs. His grandfather is al-‘Allaamah
Hamad al-‘Ateeq, may Allâh have Mercy upon him, who was the Shyakh of
al-‘Allaamah al-Muhaddith ‘Abdul-Azeez bin ‘Abdullaah bin Baaz, Allâh have
mercy upon him.
